I acknowledge my heartiest congratulations to all the members, well-wishers of Human Care for their excellent performance in the event of social welfare activities & up-gradation for social efforts etc. and thanks to all of our endeavours for their presence at the A.G.M.

I am extremely happy to learn Annual Report for 2017 - 2018 brought under our knowledge with highlighted different development activities for the benefit of rural lives targeting the poor, marginalized men, women, children living in ecologically disturbed remote areas of South 24 Parganas of West Bengal around the Block – Falta.

I do hereby performance of the organization has been successfully performed the activities on issue based as addressed especially on priority base like child education programme extensively done, Awareness Generation Prog., Social & Relief works, Games & Sports, Annual Cultural Programme and Notable Days Celebration, Environment Programme etc.. with achieved results in co – operation and participation of bright response of community peoples who got opportunity to mobilize them selves.

Further I am grateful to the members, well-wishers, Patrons, Government and non – government funding units for their kind assistance which have enabled. This organization to grow its present status. I also do appreciate a great deal in dedication, diligence selfless services rendered by all associated with the Organization.

VISION :

HUMAN CARE, free from the evils of caste, creed, gender discrimination, illiteracy, ill health, poverty and exploitation where man and women move ahed-in-hand and in perfect harmony will nature, so as to attain higher levels of humanence and camaraderie.

MISSION :

To provide meaningful opportunities to the poor and disadvantaged, with particular emphasis on the empowerment of women and other vulnerable sections of the society so as to achieve high level of sustained social and economic development.

MAIN OBJECTIVES :

To cquire, establish, start, aid run maintain or manage schools, colleges, libraries, hospitals for the benefit of the villages.
To promote and encourage advancement of library, cultural political, religious, scientific and technical education.
To collect and preserve manuscripts, paintings, sculptures, weeks of anti-quide sign.
To help the needy of all communities and both in rural and urban development.
To collect donations, subscriptions and loan for rural/socio-economic development activities.
To help the aged, sicks, helpless and indigent villagers of all communities, sired appropriate by the Executives body of the Sangha.
To construct maintain, impress develop and alter any building, houses of other works necessary or convenience.
Organize women of disadvantaged groups, especially of the un-organised sector and help them to upgrade their standard of living through optimum use of their inherent skill and resources.
To take up welfare programmes for the distressed people and organise social work.
To strengthen grass-root capacities by building confidence, problem solving capacities, resilience and skills among local people.
Eradication of distinction on basis of class, community, creed or race by promoting unity, peace, love and brotherhood amongst people of different communities and classes.

Mother & Child Care :

In the area most of the mothers and children are backward and superstitious have been suffering from malnutrition diseases without maintaining immunization course for their health care. The sangha in this year has undertaken 3 nos. health awareness camps with 150 nos. of mothers and children participants for growing knowledge of health education, growing nutritions vegetable foods at low cost process in the kitchen garden and to maintain immunization course at the nearer PHC for eradication of malnourished disease.

SHG Motivation :

Besides these the organization during the year has undertaken 2 nos. awareness making camps on SHG formation for poor women empowerment with 80 women participants at 2 villages; another 4 nos. awareness making motivation camps on the subject.

Child Labour :

In the rural area most of the children of the vulnerable families are misguided by their parents who are in search of job to afford themselves in their job place to work something or some of the children are engaged in picking up water papers or to collect cow-dung etc. In this way those children dropped out from their education and become the victims of child labour loosing their valuable future. In this respect for the purpose of stopping child labour organized some campaign and village meeting with the guardians / parents participants in the year. Bright response of participants have been seen at these events by the organization.

Environment Camp :

In this year 2 nos. awareness camps have been conducted to make awareness among 120 backward villagers participants held at Gopalpur Hat and Falta under Falta block organized by the expert personnel and block officer who have environment and advised to plant with social forestry to improve environment for bringing change of climate.

NOTABLE DAYS CELEBRATION :

The organization like every year, in this year also has celebrated Rabindra birth day anniversary with conducting different cultural programmes; Independence Day, Vivekananda day also celebrated by organizing Meetings, National flag hoisting, inauguration, morning procession programmes with large number of villagers participants. Expenses incurred by the organizational collection fund.

TRAINING PROGRAMME ACTIVITIES :

Agriculture :

The organisation has arranged a training programme for 15 days duration with 30 backward, superstitious farmers as they are trained by expert trainer under innovative technology on modern agriculture. The farmers trainers are trained with getting improved seeds and fertilizers.

SOCIAL & RELIEF WORK :

Poor Mud house repairs :

5 nos. very wretched family are helped by financially assistance for repairs of their damaged houses make suitable for their stable residence.

Social forestry :

The Organization in this year for the purpose of improvement of environment to keep ecological balance and to remove pollution has been involved in plantation with social forestry e.g. planted 500 Bangan tree plants, Akashmoni, Jhaos, Sirish, Sundari, Mehagini etc. on road and canal sides for greenery movement at the own contribution of the V.O.

Helps to the poor :

During this year the organization has conducted free distribution of books to 20 poor students and cloths to 15 Aged poorest men and women living in helpless situation in the locality. Not only that the poorest beneficiaries are financially supported on the occasion of their daughters marriage and 10 nos. of patients in acute stage are helped for free medicines support.

Cloth distribution :

Most of old aged, men and women, widows are so poor and neglected in the local villages that they cannot get even their cloth for covering their shame. So the organisation has helped 35 nos. aged men and women by free distribution of cloths as per list distributed on the event of Rabindra Jayanti (150th.) festival occasion.

Book distribution :

The organisation has helped to the poor but meritorious 10 nos. students for their encouragement of further school studies in continuation on Independence Day occasions by Organizational own fund.

Marriage Help :

During this year 15 nos. of poorest parents on the occasion of their daughters’ marriage expenses have been financially assisted by organisation at its own fund to save the parents from the victims of cut throat money lenders.

ANNUAL FUNCTION :

The organization has been involved in art & cultural activities programme every year in developing art & cultural civilization heritage by influencing the rural backward monotonous people through circulating knowledge, educative part and immense amusements, recreation for the people enjoyment by undertaking Annual Cultural functional and competition shows. Yatra, Theatre, Sangeet, Dance, folk dance, folk songs, quiz test etc. are staged at the function as arranged by the organization for 2 days duration at the end of the year.

EDUCATION PROGRAMME :

The organisation has established on elementary education programme centre containing 65 students under age groups 3 yeas to 6 years old boys and girls. The school centre has been organised by 3 nos. teachers in remunerative basis with free distribution of educational and teaching materials for the benefit of the unit for smooth continuation of education programme in the locality.

Financial allocation this year following the activities :

Strategy of Action:- HUMAN CARE strategy to fulfill the above objectives is to motivate the focused women group towards multimensional as well as integrated community development interventions along with mobilizing resources available with local, Govt. and non Govt. Agencies. Area of Operation:- At present in South 24 Parganas of West Bengal. But likely to spread in needy villages and urban areas of West Bengal as well as All Over India. AWARNESS PROGRAMME:

Tobacco are use of major causes of death and disease in India, accounting for over seven lakh deaths every year. Apart from the smoked form those cigarettes. Biri and cigars a plethora of smokeless forms of consumption exist and they account for about 35 percent of the total tobacco consumption. To combat Legislation, vide “The Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act 2003.” In spite of Anti Tobacco Legislation, youth and school students consumption are not on the wane, It’s so important to aware. In this situation HUMAN CARE conduct workshop on tobacco control.

South 24 Pargana is a sensitive area in terms of HIV/AIDS, spread while there are nos. of brothels in the area, there are nos. of artisans who migrate to different big cities in search of jobs. Away from family they generally get involved in illicit sexual practices in different red light area. To aware artisans’ families in respect of HIV/AIDS and prevention measures, the organization conducted one camp. We also conducted with TB aware camp in our office with all villagers and also want to support from our health office.
